Contact and technical intake
When you contact The Limit Line or submit a technical intake, you provide information such as your name, company, email address, country and details of your enquiry. A technical intake also asks for preferred meeting times and an optional telephone number.
This information is used to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare or provide professional services. Technical intake requests are stored in the website’s administration system and an email notification is sent to The Limit Line.
Client and project information is treated as confidential. The Limit Line is accustomed to working under mutual NDAs where required.
Cookies and your choice
Necessary functionality keeps the website running and remembers your cookie preference. It is always available and is not used for advertising.
Basic analytics are always active; they are not necessary for the website to function. Detailed analytics are optional and off until you choose Allow detailed analytics. Choosing Only basic analytics keeps detailed analytics off.
The first-party tll_detailed_analytics_consent cookie records whether detailed analytics are accepted or rejected for 180 days. Existing analytics preferences are carried over without asking again: accepted allows detailed analytics, and rejected keeps basic analytics only. Migration starts a new 180-day period. Later visits do not extend it. If you clear cookies or this preference expires, you will be asked again.
Basic analytics
Google Analytics is always active for ordinary visitors, independently of the detailed analytics choice. It provides broad usage information such as visitor numbers, pages viewed, general website interactions and approximate country, region or city where available. It uses a privacy-focused configuration and is not used by The Limit Line for advertising or remarketing.
The website disables Google Signals and ad personalisation in its tracking configuration, denies advertising storage and advertising data use, and disables cross-domain linking. No custom user ID is supplied. First-party analytics cookies distinguish browser visits; this is not anonymous measurement. They are restricted to the current host and configured to expire after 180 days without renewal on each visit. Administrator and developer traffic is excluded.
Detailed analytics
Microsoft Clarity loads only with your permission. Session recordings, clicks, scrolling and navigation behaviour help improve website usability and content. Analytics consent is passed to Clarity with advertising storage denied. See Microsoft’s cookie information for its cookies; their duration depends on the provider’s configuration.
Service providers and retention
Selected providers support hosting, email delivery, basic analytics and, with your permission, detailed analytics. Google and Microsoft may process technical and usage information in connection with their services, including outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy information is available from Google and Microsoft.
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or where retention is required for legal or administrative reasons. Cookie expiry is separate from the time providers retain analytics data.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
