Focused engineering evaluation
EMC Quick Scan
A focused EMC evaluation of your product, with scope and price agreed in advance.
Identify key EMC risks and get practical recommendations for your next development step.
Why a Quick Scan?
Not every product needs an extensive consultancy programme or a full compliance campaign as its first step. Sometimes the priority is to understand where risk sits, which measurements provide useful evidence and what the team should do next.
The Quick Scan brings those steps together in one coordinated package.
What it can include
- Product and information reviewI review the available technical information and discuss the product’s use, architecture and main concerns.
- Focused test selectionThe measurement scope is agreed before work starts. I select a limited set of measurements likely to provide useful insight.
- Coordinated laboratory sessionLaboratory testing is included where agreed for the assignment. A suitable laboratory partner and arrangements depend on the product, location and agreed measurements.
- Concise expert reportYou receive observations, their likely significance and recommended next steps.
- Explanation to your teamFindings become an engineering tool rather than a document in a project folder.
Agreed after scoping
A Quick Scan is offered with a clearly defined scope and fixed price agreed before work starts. There is no universal website tariff because products, transport, laboratory needs and test questions differ.
Focused engineering evaluation
The Quick Scan can suit start-ups, teams approaching a first hardware release, companies seeking evidence before a compliance campaign, products with a suspected emission, immunity or ESD concern, and teams wanting an independent second opinion.
It is not a certificate, declaration of conformity or replacement for a formal conformity assessment or formal compliance testing.
Is a Quick Scan the right first step?
Introduce your product during a free 30-minute technical intake. We will determine whether a Quick Scan or another form of engineering support would be more useful.
