About Us
The Limit Line is an independent company and an Associate of Cherry Clough Consultants Ltd providing electromagnetic compatibility consultancy, EMC design, EMC reviews, education and training. We are committed to helping our clients manage EMC compliance risks, and deal with the functional safety and other risks that can be cause by EMI.
Andy Degraeve founded The Limit Line in 2020, as an independent company that helps manufacturers, installers, and users deal cost-effectively with interference, Management of Functional Safety, and Other Risks, that can be caused by EMI, and comply wit European Directives and similar regulations.

Our services include EMC pre-compliance evaluation, testing, technical advice, product certification, and much more. We strive to provide the best customer service and offer innovative solutions to help you tackle anything to do with EMC or EMI – whether concerning compliance with the latest and/or toughest standards or regulations, or in real life.
Andy received the M.S. degree in electronics and computer engineering from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Technology Campus Ostend, Belgium, in 2014.

From 2014 till 2018, he was a Research Assistant at the KU Leuven Campus Bruges, Research group ReMI, Reliability in Mechatronics & ICT (now called “M-Group” standing for “Mechatronics Group”).
His main research interests included electromagnetic compatibility, immunity and functional safety in life or mission critical situations.

From 2019 till 2020 he was the Technical and Product Manager at Schlegel Electronic Materials, a member of eMei group, in Belgium, with a focus on shielding, absorbing and thermal management materials.
From 2020, he is focussing on EMC education and diagnostics using low-cost test equipment, and is a Member of the IEEE EMC Society (USA) and the EMC Test Labs Association (EMCTLA, based in the UK).
